Lantor Special Products focuses on providing innovative products in niche markets to help its customers achieve their goals. Together with a team of trained specialists we are continually searching for innovative solutions for customers who demand ever-higher standards. At LSP we believe in close cooperation with our customers, which is proved by the fact that 70% of our current products are customer-specific. In this way we contribute to their success. In most cases our customers return to us for next-generation products, mostly based on existing concepts, to redevelop the product to match the new challenges. LSP has been assisting its customers in developing materials since 1970, and our current business proves the appreciation of our long-term customers, and those who have recently joined us. Our standard procedure in the development of new of redesigned materials is a number of in-house tests that we perform. When required, we ask one of our partners to assist us with (in most cases) finishing activities. This is followed by a comprehensive internal evaluation, after which we present the results to our customer for comments/approval. In such cases, we usually incorporate the desired product changes, or – less often – consult the research program and pursue the different possibilities within the current development roadmap.

Our unique selling points lie in development in the area of mixed fibers and multiple finishing methods, the possibility of adding SAPs, microspheres, fungicides, and flame-retardant additives to the laminated material, and combination of this with adhesives (powder coating, hotmelt, or spraying) and subsequent customized slitting.

Besides the general qualifications, LSP is also striving to accomplish classifications for different products based on customer requirements, or simply because of local or foreign legislation.

Lantor has its own laboratory, it is capable of performing the majority of its basic testing in house. This testing involves microscopic investigation, chemical analysis of materials, and a comprehensive range of specific strength tests (porosity/filtration/ electric conductivity and chemical resistance). This ensures that products are manufactured in accordance with specifications and that new materials are tested.
