CondenStop for noise reduction purposes

The 1.8 mm thick CondenStop AN has got besides an excellent absorption capability also an noise reduction effect. Because the material is just 1.8 mm thick, it is still very easy to process in a profiling line. Furthermore, roll length can still get up to 600 length meters, with an outer diameter of maximum 1000 mm.
The three types of noise reduction and the effect of CondenStop AN are as follows:
  • Contact noise: sound made by rain showers or hail on a metal roof.     CondenStop AN has achieved good results in reduction of contact noise.
  • Sound absorption: sound originated from inside a building, for instance by machines or people. With CondenStop AN on the roof, these sounds are dampened and will not resonate any further. The effect is similar to hanging drapes in a room
  • Sound isolation: the noise made by an outside object like a plain or a moving car. Although this effect is not measured, it will be limited because of the relatively low thickness of CondenStop AN.
Full test reports for Contact noise and Sound absorption are available at request.
