The Special Products business unit was established in 1990.
Special Products focuses on customer-specific nonwoven configurations. This is illustrated by the extremely diverse business areas in which Special Products sells its products.
The focus on the development of new products is mainly based on the modification or re-engineering of existing product features. This and the extensive machinery that Lantor has available for treatment, laminating, calandering, slitting, coating, etc. results in complex/multilayered products with a high added value. The combinations of materials, finishing methods, use of different binders, use of different fibers, or even the use of wet laid, thermal printed/bound, Spunlaid or SM(Mx)S nonwovens creates exactly the type of – matrix – nonwoven that customers require for their respective lines of business.
