Instructions for use
Follow these instructions when using Coremat® in your laminate. | |||||||||||||||
| Lantor Coremat® may be processed either in hand lay-up or spray-up methods, without the need for special tools or equipment. | ||||||||||||||
| Apply a layer of fiberglass. Finish the first layer of fiberglass bij saturating it with more resin and roll it out thoroughly. | ||||||||||||||
| Coremat is placed onto wet resin. Then the top half of the Coremat layer is saturated with resin. Resin can also be sprayed on. | ||||||||||||||
| Coremat® Xi: The addition of resin triggers a colourchange of blue into its natural white state. | ||||||||||||||
| After 20 to 30 sec. the binder has dissolved. Now you can form Coremat to fit virtually any shape. During the rolling out it shapes itself. No heavy pressure is required. | ||||||||||||||
| Pieces of Lantor Coremat® should be butt-jointed rather than overlapped, to ensure a smooth surface. Since the wet Lantor Coremat® will stretch, pieces can be easily jointed with a roller. | ||||||||||||||
| That's all there is. Now the final layer of fiberglass can be applied in the usual way. | ||||||||||||||
